Top Easy WoW Mounts to Get

Top Easy World of Warcraft Mounts to Get

World of Warcraft has over 350 non-paid (e.g. can be obtained in-game without spending money) and 593 total mounts available in the game. If you are a mount enthusiast and don’t know where to start, here we will go through a list of easy mounts to get in World of Warcraft.

Faction Mounts

Alliance/Horde Faction mounts are among the easiest ones to obtain. There are 33 Horde/Alliance specific mounts you can buy. You can obtain 7 (or 6, depending on your race) mounts by just leveling up and buying them with gold. To buy other races mounts you need to reach exalted reputation with that race's capital city. An easy way to reach exalted with race factions is wearing their tabard and running TBC/WOTLK dungeons like Botanica or Halls of Lighting.

After getting Faction specific mounts, if you have the time, you can grind Mists of Pandaria factions reputations. Mists of Pandaria factions offer 31 mounts, but if you just want the easy ones, these will take some time.

Class Specific Mounts

Each class has its own mount (some added with Legion class halls). They are obtained via class quest lines or Class Hall quest lines added in Legion.

Vendor Mounts

We can say these are the easiest ones to obtain. You can just buy them with gold if you have, and they are mostly cheap and can be bought with not a lot of gold. They can get cheaper if you have reputation with that faction and get a discount.

The cheapest ones are Wind Riders available to buy from Mei Francis in Dalaran (Both old Dalaran and the new one added in Legion). She sells 11 mounts for both Horde and Alliance.

You can buy 3 mounts from Uncle Bigpocket located in Kun-Lai Summit (cords: 65 61). 2 of his mount are pretty cheap (3,000k) but the Grand Expedition Yak requires 120,000k Gold. If you are on a budget, you can skip it.

Legion has one gold sink mount, the Bloodfang Widow you can buy with 2 million gold from The Mad Merchant. Battle for Azeroth also added 5 Gold sink mounts you can buy. 2 from Talutu (Palehide Direhorn and Caravan Brotosaur, for 500k and 5 million) and 3 from Gottum (each for 333,333 gold).

Profession Mounts

There are 29 mounts available from professions, but you can obtain them all by one character because of the 2 profession limit. You can buy some of the mounts that other professions can craft like Engineering, Jewelcrafting, Blacksmithing, and Archeology mounts.

You can obtain these mounts from your other characters and they will count toward your total mounts earned.

Achievement Mounts

Some achievements reward you with a mount once completed. These achievements are mostly related to Dungeons and Raids, namely the Uncorrupted Voidwing that is obtained after getting Ahead of the Curve. If you don’t have time for these mounts and want to get them quickly, we can help you with that! You can buy the Uncorrupted Voidwing and similar mounts for your character.

Glory of the Raider

These types of achievements are earned by completing raids doing specific things for each boss. All raids (except for a few) available after Ulduar awards mount for completing the Glory of the <Raid Name> Raider. There are 21 mounts available from these achievements. You can do them with your guild, or just find a pug doing them.

Buy Glory of the Ny'alotha Raider - Wriggling Parasite Boost - UptownBoost

Glory of the Hero

These achievements are earned by completing dungeons, doing specific things for each dungeon. Each expansion has one Glory of the Hero achievement (Except for TBC and Vanilla) which makes 6 mounts available from these types of achievements. Some of the achievements can be done solo, while others require a group.

Mount Achievements

Collecting mounts also gives you mounts! You get these achievements and rewards after earning a specific amount of mounts (earned for 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, and 400).

Other Achievements

You can also get mounts from doing other activities like collecting 35 heirlooms. The easiest ones are [Two Sides to Every Tale] and [...And Chew Mana Buns] and [Heirloom Hoarder]

Other Mounts

There are a lot of other mounts available, but they might not be as easy as those mentioned above. Guaranteed drops mounts, as much easy as it seems, might not be easy after all. These mounts often drop from elites and a lot of people are camping on them so you either have to be lucky or spend a lot of time on them. Warlords of Draenor Elites are probably the easiest ones to get.
Paid mounts are also easy to get if you enough money!
